From beginning to end, the staff at Thaxted Park made our wedding so incredibly easy. They truly cared about our day and would do anything to make it perfect for us. We cannot thank Charmaine, Michael and the rest of the team enough for the time and effort they put into making our wedding day flawless.

We recently celebrated my birthday / our surprise wedding at the Thaxted Golf Club. It was on our consideration list originally for the gorgeous location overlooking the golf course and great parking. After we met Michael, the manager, for the first time we did not consider anywhere else. I cannot recommend this place for a special occasion or event more highly. Everyone went over and above our expectations to make our night amazing. We chopped and changed our minds right up to the last minute and nothing was ever too much of a problem. Michael was spot on with all of his suggestions and this helped with our plan for the surprise element. Our cocktail menu was fantastic with lots of variety and plenty to satisfy all of our guests and the wine choices were way above expectations.The staff were fabulous and very professional. We chose to have a Gatsby theme for our wedding and with the decorations and ceiling fairy lights it looked amazing. It was just the best night. If you’re wanting a venue that has a great location with parking, wonderful staff and lovely food and wine choices, please consider Thaxted Golf Club. You won’t be disappointed. Mike & I would like to thank everyone there for our special night. You were all amazing!
We had our wedding here on 19th November 2017 and it was just amazing!! The food, service and staff were phenomenal and made our big day/night everything I had dreamed of and more!
My daughter had her wedding ceremony on the new practice area then a cocktail reception in the Clubhouse! What an amazing experience and awesome setting for this. We can’t thank the staff enough for their help during the night. We had 18 items on a cocktail menu and they were all fabulous. Would thoroughly recommend for your next function venue!
My husband and i had our wedding ceremony and reception here on Saturday 5th November. What an amazing time we had. Nikki and the bar/kitchen staff did an absolutely fantastic job from serving drinks before and after the ceremony to looking after all our guests throughout the reception. The food was really delicious and there was plenty too. The price was very reasonable also. The room was set up nicely, plenty of space to sit and chat and nice big dance floor too. Was just a great atmosphere. It’s been a pleasure dealing with Nikki and i would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Thaxted Park Golf Course to anyone for a function. Thanks again, best day ever xxx
We had our wedding reception on the weekend and could not have happier. Nicky and Adam were very helpful and extremely professional right from the start. Can not thank them and the staff enough. Was everything we hoped for and more!
