Thaxted Park Golf Club Championships
The Club Championships will be held on Saturday the 16th, 23rd & 30th of November (please refer below for details), for any further information please see the team in the Proshop:
Open to all 5, 6 and 7-day membership categories – No entry fee for the club championships *Normal Saturday comp. fee applies.
Thaxted Park Golf Club Championships (Gold Leaf events):
Club Champion – the lowest gross score for 54 holes
B Grade Champion – the lowest gross score for 54 holes for players with handicaps between 13 and 19
C Grade Champion – the lowest gross score for 54 holes for players with handicaps greater than 19
Junior Champion – the lowest gross score for 54 holes for players aged 18 and under.
Played over 54 holes stroke play.
*First 36 holes to be played on consecutive Saturdays. Following the first 36 holes there will be a cut to the lowest 8 scratch scores and ties for each grade. These players will be included in an automatic draw for the final round on the next Saturday.
Additional Championships (Non Gold Leaf events):
A Grade Handicap Champion – the lowest nett score for 54 holes for players with handicaps 12 and under
B Grade Handicap Champion – the lowest nett score for 54 holes for players with handicaps between 13 and 19
C Grade Handicap Champion – the lowest nett score for 54 holes for players with handicaps greater than 19 Senior Champion – the lowest gross score for 54 holes for players aged 55 and over
Senior Handicap Champion – the lowest nett score for 54 holes for players aged 55 – 69
Junior Handicap Champion – the lowest nett score for 54 holes for players aged 18 and under
Super Senior Champion – the lowest nett score for 54 holes for players aged 70 and over
